ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Sunday that Special Assistant to Prime Minister Naeem-ul-Haq is unaware of issues, adding that he didn’t resign from his post.
While speaking to media in Jhelum, Chaudhry said he didn’t resign from his office. The minister said that he has his reservations about the managing director of Pakistan Television.
He said that he will have a meeting with the PM on Monday, where the prime minister will make a decision.
While responding to a question about Naeem-ul-Haq claiming that Chaudhry’s resignation has been sent to PM House, the federal minister said that the former is unware of the matters and he has not sent his resignation.
He said that these days he is busy with his brother’s wedding and has not been able to contact anyone.
Earlier, Fawad Chaudhry said that the transfer of money from Pakistan Television’s accounts warrants the Criminal Procedure Code.
It is important to mention that Chaudhry had raised concerns on the performance of the state TV’s Board of Governors and even fell out with PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq, when he made a statement in favour of PTV.
