ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e-Fazl Chief Maulana Fazl-ur Rehman expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of the government.

The two leaders met today and discussed current political situation.

In the meeting, Zardari said that the government instead of giving relief to the public, is taking out vengeance against the opposition.

“The government is not serious in implementing the National Action Plan,” said Fazl.

The leaders agreed to boycott the government’s upcoming session on the NAP.

Opposition parties have decided to boycott the coming parliamentary leaders meeting called by the federal government. Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif in a letter to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the opposition demands the government to give a briefing to all lawmakers of the house rather than a selected few leaders.

Earlier, in an invitation letter by Qureshi, all opposition parliamentary leaders were invited to attend the briefing schedule on March 28.
