Minor maid found dead in swimming pool of Lahore house

LAHORE: The body of a minor maid was recovered from a swimming pool of a house in Lahore’s Faisal Town on Monday night.

According to the police, the victim who has been identified as Hina worked at the home where her body was found.

The police while conducting the investigation arrested the deceased’s uncle who worked at the same place.

Police said the accused had thrown the victim’s body in the pool after killing her, adding that they are still investigating if the accused raped her and then killed her. 

Earlier, this year, the battered body of 16-year-old servant Uzma Bibi was found dumped in a canal and her wealthy employer charged with murder. 

In 2016 a judge and his wife were imprisoned for torturing their 10-year-old maid, while in 2017 a famous TV presenter was charged for forcefully detaining her teenage maid.
