Ingredients:

Danish pastry As required

Croissants As required

Milk 4 cups

Cream 1/2 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Dry nuts 1 cup

Method:

Mix milk, cream, nuts (saving some for garnish) and sugar over low heat and reduce until it thickens.

Cut croissants into small pieces and preheat the oven.

In a buttered ovenproof dish, line it with pastry dough. Bake in oven until cooked and crisp.

Let it cool a bit and then add pieces of croissants.

Pour the mixture over croissants to soak them completely.

Top it off with some sugar and nuts, bake until it browns on top.

Serve hot and enjoy.
