ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Shabbar Zaidi on Thursday vowed to end corruption in the revenue authority's tax collections.

Speaking exclusively to Geo News, the FBR chief said efforts would be made to bring more and more people into the tax net.

He said the tax percentage in the GDP would be increased and all-possible efforts would be made for a taxpayer-friendly FBR.

Zaidi said he would utilise the services of present staff of the revenue authority.

He said the FBR's expertise would be utilised in widening of the tax net.
