Two cases of child sexual abuse emerge from Karachi's Korangi locality

KARACHI: Two incidents of child abuse — a minor boy and a minor girl — have surfaced in the Zaman Town area of Karachi's Korangi locality.
According to police, a man in Zaman Town alleged deceived a four-year-old girl — his neighbour — into coming to his home where he trapped and raped her. The incident occurred two days ago and a first information report (FIR) was filed a day later.
The alleged rapist, however, fled and a search for him is underway, police said.
On the other hand, a man on Saturday sexually assaulted a minor boy who had gone to his home for tuition. It was unclear whether the rapist was the tutor or another adult in the house, police said.
The suspect, nevertheless, was arrested.
