PM Imran Khan to visit Iran, confirms Naeem-ul- Haq

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan would undertake a visit to Iran in a few days, said his Special Assistant Naeem-ul-Haq on Friday.

He said during his visit to the Islamic Republic, the prime minister would hold meetings with Iranian leadership.

According to reports, the prime minister would leave for Saudi Arabia  after concluding his visit to Iran.

Talking about Maulana Fazlur Rehman's Azadi March, he said only interior minister could offer a comment on government's strategy regarding the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl's protest.

The JUI-F has announced to mount a march on Islamabad on October 31 against the PTI government.

JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has refused to postpone the protests and expressed his resolve to send the government packing.

The maulana said his party would express solidarity with people of Occupied Kashmir on October 27 before entering Islamabad on October 31. 

The JUI-F has also approached the local administration in Islamabad to seek permission to exercise what it said it's constitutional right to protest.
