Lahore man shoots wife nine times, killing her over 'domestic dispute'

LAHORE: A man shot his wife nine times over a 'domestic dispute', killing her on the spot, here in Guldasht Colony of the city's North Cantt area, police said Monday.
Lahore police said the suspect — identified as Ali Raza — was having an argument with his wife, 23-year-old Zunaira, since a few days. Last night, when things escalated, he opened fire on her in a fit of rage and shot her at least nine times.

When police were alerted, they reached the crime scene, recovered the late woman's body, and shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem.
Police said they have formed a team to search for the suspect — who has been in the wind after killing his wife — and arrest him.
