It has sought a per-unit increase of Rs1.19, Rs0.781, Rs0.404 for the months of July, August and September, and per-unit decrease of Rs0.198, Rs1.901 and Rs2.354, respectively, for the months of October, November, and December 2019.

A hearing pertaining to the KE's petition is set to be held on March 4 in Islamabad, the NEPRA said.

Correction: An earlier version of this story had erroneously stated that the monthly fuel price adjustment sought by KE for the months of October, November and December 2019 represented an increase in per unit charges for electricity. The exact quantum of monthly adjustments has also been rectified. The errors are regretted.
