UK mission announces change in dates of repatriation flights from Lahore, Islamabad

The UK High Commission in Pakistan has announced that it has changed the dates for the repatriation flights from April 30 onward which are being flown to take back its stranded citizens.

According to the British mission, the dates of the flights from Islamabad and Lahore have been changed. The updated schedule shows that one flight will leave from May 3 and one from May 4 from Lahore and Islamabad to London.

The mission also said that flights from Manchester will leave on May 2, 5 and 6 from Islamabad, while flights from Lahore will leave on May 5 and 7.

According to the British government, these flights are part of the second round of direct charter flights and the tickets from Islamabad and Lahore cost £522. Any British national in Pakistan wanting to return to the UK must register for the flights by May 1.
