15 held in Rangers’ underway Gizri, Korangi search operation

KARACHI: Rangers in their search operation conducted in Gizri and Zia Colony areas taken into custody scores of persons and recovered weapons, Geo News reported.

Rangers’ sources said that over 15 suspects were taken into custody during the operation in Gizri P&T Colony of Defence Area and recovered light and heavy weapons. Different criminals’ hideouts were also raided, sources said.

Sources said that the search operation in Zia Colony of Korangi Area was underway and more than eight suspects were taken into custody.

The entry and exit points of the areas under search operation were sealed and none was allowed to get in and out of the areas.
