BIEK announces HSC part-II Commerce result

KARACHI: Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Tuesdays announced the result of Higher Secondary Certificate, part-II, annual examinations 2011 of Commerce Group (regular).

Total number of registered candidate was 32949, out of them 32666 appeared and 17911 managed to pass the exam, making passing percentage 54.83%.

Two top positions were bagged by girls, while the third one clinched by a boy.

Asifa Aziz daughter of Aziz Ul Haque of DA Degree College for Women, Phase VIII, DHA stood first, followed by Fazilat Zubair daughter of Muhammad Zubair of Institute of Business Education, while Muhammad Saim Mumtaz son of Saleem Shahzad of Commerce Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences had to be content with the third position.
