LAHORE: Two more people including a woman lost their battle against dengue at Mayo Hospital on Thursday, raising the death toll to 292.
65-year-old Chaudhry Nawaz from Gujrat and Asghari Begum (50), a resident of Ravi Road, who were under treatment at a special dengue ward of Mayo Hospital, died of dengue.
According to Health Department figures, 251 new dengue cases were reported in Punjab, raising the number to 19,368 in the province while 187 new cases were reported in Lahore, raising the total to 16,743 in the city. (APP)
