KARACHI: Provincial interior minister Manzoor Wasan on Sunday ordered an inquiry into the incidents of arson at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) offices in Sindh, Geo News reported Sunday.
Talking to Geo News he denied Pakistan Peoples Party’s involvement in any such incident saying his is a democratic political party, which does not believe in the political victimization.
He said the perpetrators would be taken to the task in the strictest manner.
Moreover, he told Geo News that an SHO of police in Knadhkot has been fired for failing to act in time to save PML-N office in his jurisdiction.
The top police brass has also been tasked with reports in this regard on the prompt, said he.
Security has been beefed up around PML-N offices and law enforcers put on high alert, he added.
