SSP Fayyaz Khan of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Sindh police said the accused was also wanted in the killing of some high profile cases besides gambling.
Hand grenades, Klashnikov and other important contraband material wwas recovered from his possessions.
Former Sindh minister Zulfiqar Mirza had earlier nominated Patni in conspiracy to kill him.
