PSX CEO Farrukh Hussain khan asks govt address overreliance on banks

Pakistan Stock Exchange CEO Farrukh Hussain khan urged the government to look into the overreliance on banks ahead of the federal budget.

Farrukh said that reliance on banks is "unstainable and is expensive for the government, corporations, and individuals".

"For Pakistan's growth and for the banking sector, it is important that silos of the capital market and banks break and Pakistan’s economy is built on both these pillars," said the CEO of PSX.
