MULTAN: The Customs Department on Wednesday auctioned ten non-custom-paid cars and earned Rs5.6 million, officials said.
The action was held at the Multan Dry Port under the supervision of Assistant Collector Customs Omar Chatha. The vehicles auctioned included Toyota Hiace van, Honda Civic and Toyota Premio.
Other smuggled goods including tyres, circuit breakers, drill machines, bracket fans and a broken body television set were also auctioned for Rs60,000 on the occasion. (APP)
