No survivors have been found from the China Eastern Airlines plane that crashed on Monday in Guangxi province, China Global Television Network reported.
Boeing 737-800 was carrying 132 people in it. Search teams have found more and more debris dispersed near the site where the crash occurred, but there is no sign of survivors.
Personal belongings such as ID cards, bank cards, and wallets have been collected as evidence.
"The aircraft was diving straight to the ground at a very high speed, which means there must have been a really terrible impact," Wang Yanan, chief editor of Aerospace Knowledge magazine, told CGTN.
Yanan showed his concern for the plane's black box, which could reveal the cause behind the crash.
"...we could know what happened to the aircraft and in what condition it was flown." he had added
Many rescuers, medics, and local villagers are a part of the rescue operation. A US accredited representative has been appointed for the crash investigation by the US National Transportation Safety Board.
The plane was flying to Guangzhou from Kunming.
CGTN affirmed that based on the latest CAAC data, the plane has been over 4,000 days for China's civil aviation safety record before the crash.
