SU satisfied with new HEC ranking

HYDERABAD: The management of University of Sindh (SU) Jamshoro expressed satisfaction over placement of university at number eight in the ranking of Higher Education Commission among 17 general Higher Education Institutes of the country.

In the year 2010, the Higher Education Commission has placed the University of Sindh at number 15 among 17 higher education institutes of the country and now the placement of number eight in the current ranking of HEC indicates the efforts of the management in introducing quality education during previous two years.

The HEC had set parameters for ranking of the universities on research, teaching and quality of education and after considering such parameters, the HEC declared the University of Sindh as number eight in ranking of the year of 2011, the spokesman said.
