Former Prime Minister Imran Khan had mentioned the interference of United States in Pakistani politics multiple times, claiming that the US government was conspiring against him.

After Shehbaz Sharif replaced Khan as the next PM, a video was published on Twitter showing US President Joe Biden celebrating Khan's ouster, India Today reported.

In the 22-second-long video, Biden and Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson can be seen watching a live telecast of the parliament's no-confidence motion against Khan.

They rejoice and hug each other as soon as the no-confidence motion is passed, resulting in the former PM's ouster.

Jackson says, "We did it. We did it, Joe."

Some people even retweeted the post.

Is this video real, though?

The India Today Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA) discovered that the video was fake and had been digitally altered.

Originally, the two were watching Jackson’s confirmation by the US Senate as the first ever Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

Additionally, in the original video, no one can be heard saying "we did it" either, proving that the sound was edited too.
