KARACHI: Patients' Welfare Association (PWA) hosted its annual fundraising carnival ‘The Bake Sale 2012’ on Wednesday March 14th, 2012 at Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) to generate funds which will be used for provision of free medical facilities to underprivileged patients at CHK.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mehtab Chawla, Chairman Al Karam Towel Industry.
The services being offered by PWA include medicines on daily basis, fully screened blood, baseline diagnostic facilities and long term treatment for patients of general, T.B and thalassemia follow-up.
PWA also runs a Thalassemia Day Care Center where patients are provided free live long treatment of Thalassemia.
From all over Karachi, doctors, students and noble personalities supported the cause by attending the event and turning it into success.
