Doctor kidnapped from Gulshan-e-Hadeed

KARACHI: Dr. Faisal Iftikhar, owner of Iftikhar Memorial Hospital, was kidnapped by unknown culprits on the way from hospital to his home in Gulshan-e-Hadeed last night.

His car was found from Bhains Colony area of Karachi.

According to details, when 27-year old doctor didn’t return home on usual time, his mother Dr. Tehseen Iftikhar reported to Steel Town police station suspecting kidnapping of his son.

The police later informed that the car of Dr. Faisal Iftikhar was found from Bhains colony area. Pervez, the uncle of kidnapped doctor has lodged FIR with police.

This was seventh doctor kidnapped from Gulshan-e-Hadeed. The incident created panic among the residents of the area including doctors, who hurriedly called a meeting and announced complete strike in Gulshan-e-Hadeed on Friday. (PPI)
