TEXAS: A popular and prominent leader of Pakistani American community Mansoor Shah buried in Arlington Muslim symmetry Al Baqi with sadness in the air, grief, sorrow and tears in the community's eyes.
The funeral prayer was performed by a prominent scholar and Imam Allama Adeel Raza.
A number of community leaders including Dr Qaiser Abbas, Dr Amir Suleman, Amin Tirmizi, Shahid Jaffery, John Hamid, Shariq Hamid, Baldev Singh, Ashfaq Khanzada, Javed Siddiqui, Nadeem Zaman, Muzaffar Kashmiri, Nadeem Akhtar, Moazam Ali Bhangar,Sajjad Fecto,Parvez Malik, Avi Singh, Jan Bangash, poet Younus Aijaz, Masood Qazi, Azad Khan, Ali Rizvi, Mansoor Qaiser, Haji Nasir, Pervez Monga, Aftab Khan, Nasir Ali, Raja Zahid Khanzada, Rahil Khanzada, Raja Mustafeez, Munnu Mehta, Arif Choudhry, Naeem Choudhry, Ameer Ali Rupani,Muhammad Younis,Nasir Malik,Atorny Tausif Kamal, Awais Naseer, Ashrif Motiwalla, Imran Raza, Ali Rizvi, Siraj Butt, Ghulam Nabi, and a large number of men and women attended the funeral.
People from other states also came to attend the funeral of Mr Shah. The Soyem will be held at Momin Center in Irving today at 4:00 PM.
Syed Mansoor Ali Shah was found dead in mysterious circumstances a week ago in his car at a United Central bank parking lot in Arlington. Police reported this as a suicide which was confirmed by the autopsy report, however, the presence of two bullet wounds in the autopsy report raised questions on police claim validity as even the family members also reported two bullet wounds on Mr. Shah’s body upon receiving the dead body of Mr. Shah.
Upon insistence from Mr. Shah’s family, the police took the body back from second autopsy of which the report has not yet been given to his family. Mr. Shah’s family has even hired lawyers and private detectives to solve the mystery around Mr. Shah’s death.
Mr. Shah’s body was kept in cold storage as his parents and siblings were coming from Pakistan to see him for the last time. The unusual circumstances around Mr. Shah’s death are a mystery for local Pakistani American community in Dallas Fort Worth area. His family members claim that Mr. Shah was financially very sound and was not in any difficult situation that he would think of any attempt on his own life.
Late Mr. Shah has left behind his wife Birgees Shah, two sons Ahsan Ali Shah and Akbar Ali Shah, daughters Alina Shah and Aliza Shah. The children's ages range from four to eleven years. Mr. Mansoor Ali Shah was a popular leader of Pakistani as well as Indian and Sikh communities of Dallas Fort Worth (DFW).
