SPLGA a conspiracy to form separate country: Ayaz Palijo

THATTA: President Awami Tehreek, Ayaz Palijo said a conspiracy was being knitted under the façade of the local government ordinance and it is not aimed at forming just a separate city or province but a full-fledged country.

Addressing a public meeting here, Palijo termed the aim of this conspiracy 'as a threat not only for Islamabad but the whole region'.

He regretted that while the tribal areas were facing drone strikes and Sindh suffering from floods, the Pakistan People's Party men were engaging in celebrations.

The Awami Tehreek Chief said that another conspiracy was brewing under the guise of Zulfiqarabad project to snatch Sindh province's water and coal reserves and urged the people of Sindh to stand up with Sindh Bachao Committee against this plot.

Earlier, Ayaz Palijo led a rally against the Sindh People's Local Government Act (SPLGA) from Thatta to Makli.

Meanwhile, President Sindh National Movement announced joining Awami Tehreek during today's public meeting.

On the occasion, Sindhyani Tehreek presented tableaus against the division of Sindh.
