KARACHI: Inspector General Police Sindh Fayaz Ahmed Laghari has asked the police to ensure strict security on Friday and take steps for safeguarding life and property of citizens and maintaining law and order.
He instructed all deputy inspectors general to take steps for foolproof security on main arteries, particularly in sensitive areas. He asked increasing mobile and motorbike patrolling around mosques, imambargahs and congregations of Jumma prayers. He asked enhancing checking at entry and exit points of Karachi as well as Sindh province.
He asked the police to implement Section 144 and take unbiased action against the violators.
