KARACHI: The 8th International Book Fair began at Karachi Expo Centre on Thursday in which seventeen multinational companies are also taking part, Geo News reported.
According to details, provincial education minister Sindh Pir Mazhar ul Haq inaugurated the 5-day exhibition at the Karachi Expo Center where Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr. Farooq Sattar was also present.
As many as three hundred stalls have been set up in the vast halls of Expo Center including 200 from the local publishers.
Seventeen publishers from different countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India have also put up their stalls at the mega display of books on almost every topic.
