Founder Huda Beauty Huda Kattan to return as CEO of cosmetic giant

Huda Kattan, founder of cosmetics and make-up products producer Huda Beauty, has declared her return as CEO of the company, acknowledging past mistakes and expressing regret over stepping down in 2020.

In the video, Kattan openly discussed a pivotal error she believes nearly jeopardised the company, emphasising the importance of trusting oneself in business decisions.

Reflecting on her earlier choice to listen to external voices instead of her instincts, Kattan revealed her decision to reclaim the CEO position, stating, "I am finally taking back my power as CEO of Huda Beauty." The entrepreneur emphasised that trusting her instincts had been instrumental in building her successful business.

As part of Huda Beauty's evolution, Kattan announced a rebrand scheduled for the end of 2024. This makeover will include a new logo and updated product packaging. 

Notably, some products, like the GloWish line, will be removed from the catalogue as Kattan no longer feels a personal connection to them. This strategic shift underscores Kattan's commitment to aligning the brand with her vision and values.
