Former US president and Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump is among those residents of the continent, who are vigorously waiting for the Total Solar Eclipse that is anticipated to cover the sunlight and send the moon’s dark shadow on Earth.

Donald Trump — who is bidding for the Oval Office once against after his unceremonious departure from the White House in 2021 — has released a video showing his shadow covering the sun, implying that he is soon to take over the reins of the US administration after the November reelection.

The rare celestial event is taking place after seven years and will be commencing from the Mexican Pacific coast and Texas to Maine and Canadian Newfoundland.

Amid the moon cap on the sun, weather experts have released their forecast about how to view the event clearly and where the clouds will be hindering the glance.

Local media reported that the clear view of the eclipse can be viewed from northern New England, northern Arkansas to central Indiana, California, and parts of the mid-Atlantic and Southeast."

However, the National Weather Service said also that "this is the area of greatest uncertainty due to potential high clouds".

A USA Today report noted: "Clouds can break for some sunshine, just in time for the afternoon viewing from Chicago to Cleveland. A narrow region of good viewing is expected to open up for cities like Kansas City, Indianapolis, and St. Louis."

The experts have stated the possibility of rain in Texas, Oklahoma, southern Arkansas, Ohio, northwestern Pennsylvania and western New York.
