The Motorway Police closed the road in the night after foggy conditions continued to persist for the forth consecutive day.
The Motorway was closed from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian interchange (Faisalabad) from where traffic was diverted to the Grand Trunk (GT) road.
They had advised people to be careful and switch on lights while driving. They also requested people to stay home and avoid unnecessary traveling.
