The billionaire wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Melinda French Gates was reportedly seen wearing a diamond ring in New York City, sparking the rumours that she may be in a relationship and that her wedding could occur soon, reported Page Six.

According to the outlet, the 59-year-old has been seeing former Fox reporter Jon Du Pre since November 2022 after parting ways with Bill Gates in 2021.

While announcing their separation after 27 years of marriage, their joint statement read at that time: "After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage."

The couple founded one of the largest charitable foundations in 2000 in Seattle while they were in their matrimony.

The reason that led to the couple’s separation was said to be the Gates's association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to Melinda.

"I did not like that he had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein, no. I made that clear to him," she told CBS Mornings, adding that "he was abhorrent. He was evil personified. My heart breaks for these women."
