'Excited' Travis Kelce speaks of upcoming host gig

Travis Kelce just expressed how feels regarding his upcoming gig during an already impressive career.

The 34-year-old NFL star had an exclusive conversation with Extra on Thursday, where he addressed how he remains “comfortable” even with the spotlight constantly shining on him

Two highlighted reasons in the interview were Kelce being the pop sensation, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and his upcoming Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity hosting gig.

"I think it was all the home videos my mom used to have with the old camcorder, the handheld joint, at the house," Kelce said.

He continued, "I just always felt comfortable with the camera on me and the lights on me. Sure enough, I love a good challenge. I get excited for a challenge."

"There's something about that that I got a love for," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told the outlet.

Travis Kelce’s role on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? spinoff was confirmed earlier this month, after which he shared a statement saying that he "grew up loving game shows" and is "excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons."
