Two car lifters including woman arrested

PESHAWAR: Motorway Police on Wednesday arrested two car lifters including a woman and impounded the stolen car at Amangarh Bridge, Nowshwera.

According to details, acting on a tip off, Deputy Superintendent Motorway Police, Nasir Hayat directed to establish check posts on Nowshera-Peshawar Road.

During the search of vehicles, police team intercepted a suspected car bearing registration No. VB 745 and found that the vehicle was stolen some days back from Islamabad.

Police impounded the car and arrested two car lifters including a
woman on the spot.

A case has been registered against the arrested in Azakhel Police Station and investigations are underway. (APP)
