KWSB drive for recovery of outstanding dues

KARACHI: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) in collaboration with the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) has started a campaign for the recovery of outstanding dues from the defaulters.

A KWSB official said on Friday that in this connection a meeting with KATI was held.

A strategy was evolved for the recovery of outstanding dues of about Rs 500 million from the defaulters in Landhi and Korangi industrial areas.

A six-member committee has been formed consisting of the members of the KATI and those of the KWSB.

The recovery drive was aimed at strengthening the financial position of the KWSB by intensifying the recovery of the outstanding dues.
