Speaking to the media following their meeting, PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said his party wanted to stop those who were against free, fair elections and were trying to delay them.

The JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the occasion said there was also an agreement with the PML-N to have a consensus on names for the caretaker government.

Earlier, during their meeting, Nawaz and Fazl discussed the prevailing political situation and issues of mutual interest. The PML-N also agreed to attend the upcoming All Parties Conference scheduled for February 28 on the invitation of the JUI-F.
