QUETTA: Former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) provincial minister Ali Madad Jattak has been sentenced to a two year prison term and fined Rs 10,000 in the fake degree case, Geo News reported Friday.
The Additional Sessions Court in Quetta sentenced Madad after it had earlier reserved its verdict on Thursday.
Following the sentence, Jattak was arrested from the premises of the court and transferred to prison.
Jattak was elected as a member of the Balochistan Assembly in the 2008 election
