Angelina Jolie had a near-death experience on the set of her famed franchise, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Gerard Butler, who starred beside her in 2003's The Cradle of Life, recalled a shocking incident in an interview with People.

"I almost shot Angelina Jolie in the face. I was coming down, hanging upside down, I had to fire a gun but I had no control over where this thing went, so I was just firing and I just missed her. I mean, it is insane," he remembered.

In other news, Angelina is reportedly stressed because her sister-in-law, Romi Imbelli, is writing a memoir.

"That's already a bad sign, but saying she will reveal more in a tell-all is setting off alarms. Romi has been close to the family for more than 20 years, so there are a lot of dark secrets she could spill," an insider told In Touch.

"Angie cut off Jon after he spoke to the press about her and her children, which proves how seriously she protects her privacy, even with family."

"Of course, she wants her brother to be happy — but this could turn into her worst nightmare," the source concluded.
