ISLAMABAD : The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday suspended all orders relating to postings, transfers and deputations given by the caretaker government, Geo News reported.
The Supreme Court has given till tomorrow (Wednesday) to the secretary establishment, secretary cabinet, secretary law, principal secretary to the prime minister and all other secretaries to submit details.
The court stated, that the caretaker government cannot give orders that are beyond policy matters.
Khwaja Asif from the PML-N had challenged the caretaker government’s orders.
On Monday (June 3), Caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso approved the posting of 100 officers of BPS-17 and above from the government of Balochistan on deputation basis in the federal ministries, divisions and attached departments.
