Natasha Rothwell reveals funny text she received from Jennifer Coolidge

Natasha Rothwell recently revealed a funny text that she received from Jennifer Coolidge, her White Lotus co-star.

For those unversed, the duo starred alongside each other in the first season of Mike White's acclaimed anthology series in 2021.

Natasha Rothwell portrayed the character of the spa manager Belinda Lindsey whereas Jennifer Coolidge played the wealthy and eccentric hotel guest Tanya McQuoid.

In her new chat with Extra, she recalled the message Jennifer sent her during the show's broadcast when she mentioned that Natasha fears a fate similar to her for her character. 

For those unversed, in season two of the show Jennifer Coolidge's husband Greg plotted her murder for her money, and in season three, Rothwell's Belinda, upon encountering Greg in Thailand, believed that she would face the same face. 

"She texted me during (season 3), she was like, 'You better kill him!'" Natasha shared Jennifer's response when she told her this news.

She went on to add, "Sorry. Sorry, Jen, to disappoint. I didn't kill him. But, yeah no, she's been such a champion, which is nice."

Elsewhere in the chat, she recounted working with Jennifer for the first time and shared that she was already a huge fan of her.

Speaking of her work experience with Jennifer Coolidge in the show’s first season, she added, "Playing opposite Coolidge, I mean, that's crazy.”

“I remember when they told me who I'd be playing against and I was like, 'Stifler's mom?! This is nuts!'" she recounted referring to Jennifer Coolidge's iconic role in the show American Pie after which she moved to a new topic.
