BLACKPINK's ROSE recreates viral Charli XCX 'Apple' dance

BLACKPINK’s ROSE is in her “brat era.”

The K-pop star, during her attendance at Charli XCX’s concert in Brooklyn, recreated the viral choreography of the latter’s track, Apple.

Charli concluded her North American arena tour at Barclays Center in Brooklyn after performing for four nights at the venue.

For the final show, Rose was seen as one of the audience members in the crowd to recreate the viral TikTok dance for the Brat album track.

This dance was first started by the influencer Kelley Heyer, and has since become a regular part of the Brat tour and the previous Sweat tour with Troye Sivan, where each night members of the crowd are selected to perform the dance on the arena’s big screen.

Big celebrities such as Dave Grohl, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Joe Jonas, Stephen Colbert and Anthony Ramos, and Charli’s fiancé, The 1975‘s drummer George Daniel, all have also tried recreating the popular dance steps.

Despite the immense success Apple has garnered, Charli XCX revealed last year that this track was “nearly” cut from the Brat album entirely.

In an Instagram post, she confessed, “A little secret,” revealing, “apple nearly didn’t make the cut on the final tracklist. imagine lol. anyways it’s her world and we’re just living in it!!”
