King Charles and Queen Camilla will host President of France Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron at Windsor Castle in July.

This announcement has been made by the palace in a social media post on Tuesday.

The palace shared King Charles and Queen Camilla’s photo with Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron to make the announcement.

The palace announcement reads, “The President of the French Republic, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Mrs Brigitte Macron, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty The King to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 8th July to Thursday 10th July 2025.”

It further said, “Their Majesties The King and Queen will host the President and Mrs Macron at Windsor Castle.”

The major announcement comes after King Charles issued a stark warning about “global uncertainty” in a new address at Windsor Castle.

King Charles, 76 was speaking at the Household Cavalry new Standards Parade alongside his sister Princess Anne.

As per the GB News, addressing the amassed regiments and wearing full military dress, the monarch spoke of their importance “at such a time of global uncertainty”.

He said, “It is of crucial importance to preserve the attributes of excellence and achievement for which you are famous, and which are symbolised by these Standards.”
