Ryan Reynolds has revealed that he stole one thing from the set of Deadpool & Wolverine.

Reynolds and Hugh Jackman played the titular characters in the 2024 film, which made over $1.3 billion worldwide.

During his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he revealed that he pulled a “grand theft” and stole a costume worn by Welshpool, one of the many variants of Deadpool that appeared in the film.

"That lives at the Racecourse Ground. The Racecourse Ground is the oldest international football stadium on Earth. And that's actual grand theft. I just stole that from Disney," he shared.

Welshpool was played by Wrexham AFC striker Paul Mullin, who plays soccer in the team that Reynolds co-owns. The costume bore a large red dragon in a nod to the Welsh flag.

Surprised by the information, Stephen asked, "They don't have lawyers or anything.”

"No, no; they're not litigious at all," replied Reynolds.

He then shared that Disney was “good” with him taking the costume.

Deadpool & Wolverine featured cameos from Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Channing Tatum as Gambit, as well as Chris Evans, Wesley Snipes, and Henry Cavill.
