Queen Camilla has made her first public appearance after King Charles updated the royal fans about his health amid cancer treatment.
The King, during his visit to Impact Hub Yorkshire in Bradford, revealed he likes to think he is on the "better side" of his cancer journey.
King Charles said, "I'd like to think I'm on the better side [of my cancer journey]".
Following the monarch’s remarks, palace shared update about Queen Camilla’s visit.
The palace shared photos and a video of Queen Camilla saying, “After meeting schoolchildren and members of the public in Bradford today, The Queen, as Patron of Literacy Trust, hopped onboard the Bradford Stories Bus. The bus has been converted into a travelling literacy event space, helping to inspire children to read and write for pleasure.”
It continued afterwards, the Queen visited the birthplace of the Brontës in Thornton, West Yorkshire, which Her Majesty officially opened. It’s the first time the public has been able to visit the site.
The Queen is an avid reader and The Queen's Reading Room has previously featured Emily Brontë’s classic ‘Wuthering Heights’.
