Meghan Markle snubs royal family on wedding anniversary with Harry

Meghan Markle on Monday took to Instagram to give her fans a glimpse into the family she created with Britain's Prince Harry seven years ago.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a picture of a photo  board showcasing multiple pictures of the family together.

She wrote, "Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. "Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!."

The pictures shown on the board captured the couple's warm moments together as well as with their children.

Notably, there  was not a single photo featuring the couple with any member of the British royal family, although one of them showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex posing for the camera shortly after their marriage.

After initially deleting the post, Meghan Markle re-shared it with the same picture and caption, leaving people wondering if she'd reconsidered celebrating their anniversary on Instagram.

Prince Harry and  Meghan Markle married in 2018 in a dazzling ceremony watched by millions of people on television.

The couple parted way with the royal family in 2020 after developing some serious differences with them.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently live in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The anniversary post came days after Harry said he would love to be reconciled with his family.

Speaking to BBC on May 2, King Charles' youngest son said,  "I don't know how much longer my father has. He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile."

Harry last saw his father in February last year, shortly after Charles, 76, was diagnosed with cancer, when the pair had a short meeting in London.
