Jessica Biel's kids only think she's cool because she knows WWE star

Jessica Biel’s kids aren’t impressed by her talent or career, but with her connection to another star: John Cena.

Jessica shares sons Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, with husband Justin Timberlake, and both of her sons don’t think she’s cool.

Promoting her new film Matchbox during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress noted she got “some cool mom points" by working with John Cena in Matchbox.

“They love him,” Biel told host Jimmy Fallon. “They love him, and he’s so nice. He’s a lovable dude, and they are just crazy about him.”

At that point, Fallon pulled out Phineas’ “all about my mom” worksheet, and in the “my mom is:” section, the boy wrote, “John Cena’s friend.”

“I love that kid, c’mon,” Fallon said while showing the sheet, while The Sinner actress quipped: “I died.”

“That’s who I am to him,” she joked, adding, “and I think if John and I ever fall out and we’re not friends anymore, I think I should go find a new family.”

“Do your kids know how cool their parents are?” Fallon asked, to which The Better Sister star replied, “No. Not at all. No, Jimmy.”

“Well,” she added, “I think they think Justin's kind of cool 'cause the music element, and like, he's Daddy. I am so lame to them.”

When Fallon attempted to console the actress and said, “That is not true,” she countered with, “Let me tell you, the new phrase for my 4-year-old is, ‘Mom, you have the worst ideas.’ I'm like, are we … we're already there.”

Her oldest, on the other hand, just wants space.

“Silas is like, ‘Don't engage, Mom. Back up off the field.’ He's playing baseball now,” Jessica Biel shared. “He's like, ‘Don't say anything. Back up.’ I'm like, ‘I just said good job.’ Like, ‘Say nothing. Say nothing.’ ”
