Sean "Diddy" Combs' former assistant, known as Mia in court, gave another testimony in court, recalling the emotional toll of her time working for the music mogul.
She revealed that she had to beg for permission just to attend her grandmother’s funeral, sharing the alleged control he had with over her life.
Detailing her time with the rapper as she worked for Combs from 2009 to 2017, Mia testified that she was often restricted to meet her family and sometimes even not allowed to communicate with them.
“It was a very confusing cycle of ups and downs and violence,” she said. "I had to get permission to leave or do things. I had to beg to go to my grandma's funeral."
Combs' lawyer Brian Steel in a tense exchange asked Mia about her social media posts praising Combs and expressing affection.
"That's how I write to the people in my life," Mia replied. Steel asked, "Including the person you're terrified of?" Mia responded, "Especially the person I'm terrified of."
Mia also testified that the music mogul emotionally abused her and left her with “complex severe PTSD" which later made her difficult to hold jobs.
