Alf Clausen has passed away at the age of 84.
The Simpsons composer Alf's daughter Kaarin shared the news of his passing.
As per Kaarin, Alf, who passed away on Thursday, was suffering from Parkinson's disease for almost 10 years.
It is worth mentioning that Alf Clausen was famously known for composing The Simpsons for almost three decades. He received 30 Emmys for his work.
The late star received a tribute from The Simpsons' writer Al Jean, who called him “incredibly talented.”
"Clausen was an incredibly talented man who did so much for The Simpsons," Al Jean wrote on X (Formerly Twitter).
Notably, the creator of the show Matt Groening also told Variety, "Alf was the 'Man of a Thousand Music Cues' — actually probably more than 10,000 — during his decades on 'The Simpsons.'"
"He was tireless, inspired, and always up for the musical challenges we threw at him," he added.
