Khyber Medical College students stage demo against wearing uniform

PESHAWAR: The students of Khyber Medical College staged a protest demonstration against the management order for wearing uniform on Monday here, Geo News reported.

The demonstrating students demanded the withdrawal of the order for making the wearing of uniform compulsory and would continue to boycott the classes until then.

While the majority of students, dressed in uniform prescribed since 1954 prospectus, were busy in their studies.

On the other hand, Khyber Medical College principal said that the uniform signifies identification of the organization, adding this builds up confidence among the students. He declared that the decision of making the students to wear uniform would not be taken back.
