Above two dozen more corrupt cops suspended

PESHAWAR: In the ongoing campaign against Corrupt Police Officer in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Force, 26 more Officers of various ranks ware suspended and further inquiry initiated against them.

According to a press release, on the directives of Inspector General of
Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani more corrupt and unscrupulous elements have been netted in the on going campaign.

In Kohat Region 11 Police Officers of different ranks ware suspended.

They included one inspector, 4 Sub-inspectors, 3 Assistant sub-inspectors and 3 other ranks officers.

Similarly in Hazara region 15 Officers of different ranks ware suspended on the charges of corruption.

The suspended officers included 5 inspectors, 8 Sub-inspectors, and 2 Assistant sub-inspectors. (APP)
