Michael B. Jordan's family moment melts hearts

Michael B. Jordan just proved his softest role yet – Uncle Mike – and the internet is fully on board.

In a TikTok clip posted on April 2, the newly-minted Oscar winner ditched the red carpet for the grass, sitting beside his niece and nephew to debut the trailer for his upcoming Netflix animated film Swapped.

The real stars, though? Lenox and Zorah.

“Hi, this is my Uncle Mike!” Lenox beamed, flashing a grin brighter than his sunshine-yellow shirt.

Jordan jumped into introduce the preview, then leaned over to gently cue Zorah, who delivered her line: “Hope you like it.”

Meanwhile, Lenox kept the charm going – smiling =, waving both hands, and basically winning the internet before the trailer even rolled.

It’s not the first time Jordan has opened up about uncle duties. Back in 2021, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he joked about the chaos of babysitting a toddler.

“He’s mobile now,” he said. “He’s figuring out his legs work. You take your eye off him and in one second, he’s out of here, he’s gone.”

As for becoming a dad himself, Jordan’s thinking long-term – and differently. He’s already decided one thing: no naming his future son after him or his dad.

“I am breaking that cycle right there,” he said. “It’s too much… I’m going to give him his own identity.”

For now, though, he’s keeping expectations low – and hilarious.

“I want kids one day, but I figure I gotta start off with, like, plants and dogs,” he joked on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. “If I can take care of a plant, I should be able to get a dog. If the dog is cool, then I have a shot.”

Honestly? Uncle Mike is already passing the test.
