Taylor Swift exuded the true Fast & Furious spirit when Vin Diesel asked for help at a major award ceremony.
Demonstrating the same sense of support as Fast & Furious, where they always celebrated the idea of family standing by each other no matter the situation, Swift didn’t hesitate and quickly stepped in to give directions to the 58-year-old star.
On Thursday night, March 26, during the iHeartRadio Music Awards the action star took the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to present a special honour to his longtime friend and Fast & Furious collaborator.
As Diesel prepared to hand over the Landmark Award to Ludacris, a technical setback briefly stalled the proceedings.
Upon reaching the podium, the actor appeared visibly disoriented by the stage setup, struggling to locate his scripted remarks.
“I literally can’t see the teleprompter. Where is it?! There? It’s over there? It’s in the middle!” he exclaimed to the laughing audience. Taylor Swift, who was seated in the front row, quickly jumped in to assist the star by pointing directly over her head toward the correct screen.
Diesel quickly caught the gesture and offered a warm thank you to the singer before continuing with the presentation. The mishap didn’t overshadow the significance of the moment for Ludacris, who also served as the evening’s host and a featured performer.
